Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. Her name was discovered by a talent agent who was impressed by her talents and then convinced her to take on to work in the entertainment industry. The university she attended dropped her after much deliberation to make a move into entertainment. Following a disappointment with her performances in the film, she decided to make her debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To perfect her performance, she worked very hard and appeared in many low-budget flicks to demonstrate her skills. While it wasn't an easy path to take however, her determination and tenacity were well-rewarded. The actress received fame and positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
