Candice King is an American actress. She made it to the top of the Hollywood ladder after playing Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice King first began her acting career in beginning of the 1990s when she was a musician. In 2009, she debuted her debut album 'It's Always the innocent Ones' in United States. It features twelve songs, all of which she wrote. While she was at it she worked on her acting skills and was a guest on several TV shows, including How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she was cast on the CW series The Vampire Diaries. She became a household brand in a matter of minutes. Candice King received praise for her outstanding acting skills and performances. She reprised her role for the whole eight-season series comprising 171 episodes. She played her character in the spin-off show The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
